Spring 2026 Updates

Dear Community of Self Healers,

We have been working literally around the clock to get ready for our shop offerings while also getting the spring plantings into the ground, starting to harvest our first herbals and working with new ways to get water-wise!

Rupam has fallen in love with Paul Gautschi's "Back to Eden" way of gardening (wood chips) and we can definitely see a big difference this spring! Many plants overwintered and kept producing like our calendulas, strawberries ripening already, our elderberry bushes never lost their leaves, artichokes, kale and chard over 5 ft tall!! We are so impressed and thrilled :)

We are also working closely with our Nevada County Resource District and Wildfire Wise community. Rupam has participated in 5 prescribed neighborhood burns and just co-hosted (with burn boss Haley from RCD) a prescribed burn on her homestead/herbal farm. Our intention is to support the health of our forests, reduce wild-fire risk and attract indigenous animal and plant life back to Nevada County via "Good Fire". (Prescribed burns are always done safely and with all necessary permits.)
